About Robin

professional illustrator and fine artist who works from her home studio in Sugar Land, Texas.

As an award-winning illustrator, she has earned national medals, has presented gallery shows, and has been an industry speaker and juror. Robin's main artistic focus is commissioned pet portraiture. Her highly detailed, colorful portraits of dogs, cats, and even horses, bring such joy to Robin, as her clients can enjoy the beauty of their beloved animals for a lifetime through her uniquely masterful art.

Commissioned custom portraits are all hand painted with acrylics on deep gallery style canvases.

Robin’s originals can be seen hung proudly in hundreds of homes all around the globe.

Robin has a background in fine art, graphic design, journalism and advertising.  After teaching Illustration for many years at both  Baylor University and Texas State University - she now works out of her studio in the Houston Texas area..

Her latest accomplishments are more of a personal nature. Commissioned pet portraits come to life with her sense of color and detail that capture each beloved companion.

As a professional illustrator, Robin had gallery shows and earned medals in national award shows, but with a passion for painting pets, Robin has now gone to the dogs (and cats, horses, etc) ! She enjoyed painting each beautifully unique pet and especially loves the joy her painting bring to the pet's owner. Best known for her detail, Robin paints colorful and expressive pieces of art. Whether the painting is of a pet that is with us or has passed, Robin's paintings are a treasure to keep forever.
